One big difference in PTO between bargained and management is the loss of Caregiver PTO. As a manager you are allotted 120 hours (15 days) of Caregiver PTO to use for taking care of a loved one. These hours allow you to save your Regular PTO for leisure for self-care.Paid Time Off enhances employee well-being by providing time for rest and personal activities, which can boost morale and reduce burnout. Additionally, it fosters a healthier work-life balance, leading to increased productivity and job satisfaction.
As a member of the union you would lose these hours, in addition to any regular PTO hours due to the CWA union mobility contract.
